Privacy Policy

AMEDYA LTD ("we", "us", "our") operates the Peyva application, a Kurdish learning and community app. This policy explains what personal data Peyva collects, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, the name you choose to display, and an optional profile photo. Sign in with Apple or Google shares your email (or an Apple relay address) and name with us; we never receive your password from those providers.
• Learning data: your answers to the daily word, puzzles and review cards, your streak, points, and the words in your review deck.
• Community content: sentences you write, votes you give, and reports you file.
• Preferences: your app language and preferred Kurdish script.
• Technical data: app version, device type, and diagnostic information when something goes wrong.

Peyva does not collect your location, date of birth, gender, contacts, or advertising identifiers.

2. How we use it

• To run the service: keep your progress, show the daily exercises, and display the community.
• To keep the community safe: names, photos and sentences are checked by automated systems before or shortly after they are shown, and reports are reviewed by our team.
• To show you to other members: your name, photo, streak, points, and sentences appear on the leaderboard and in the community, in the same form you see other members.
• To email you: learning reminders and a digest of your progress. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.
• To fix problems and understand which features are used, in aggregate.

We do not sell your data, we do not show advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. Who we share it with

• Other members see the profile information listed above. Your email is never shown.
• Service providers that host and run Peyva under contract: Cloudflare (hosting, file storage, email delivery), Neon (database), Google (automated content checking, and Google Sign-In if you choose it), and Apple (Sign in with Apple if you choose it).
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect members from harm.

4. One account across Memuzin services

Peyva accounts are part of the Memuzin account system run by AMEDYA LTD. If you also use another Memuzin service, the data that service collects is described in its own privacy policy; Peyva itself only collects what is listed on this page.

5. Keeping your data safe

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to authorised staff, and photos are stored on infrastructure that serves them only through our service.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account it is hidden immediately and you have 30 days to restore it; after that your profile, photos, learning data and sentences are permanently erased. Backups are purged within 90 days. Reports you filed or that were filed about you may be kept in anonymised form for safety records.

7. Deleting your account

In the app: Me → Delete Account. Or email privacy@memuzin.com from your registered address.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Email privacy@memuzin.com; we answer within 30 days.

9. Children

Peyva is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

10. International transfers

AMEDYA LTD is registered in the United Kingdom. Your data may be processed in other countries by the providers above, under contracts that require appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

11. Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
